Interesting site. I'm taking a similar approach with my blog:

I'm perhaps being a tad ambitious with my target of covering all the major European leagues. I like the detail you're able provide on the Premiership, it's always good to read someone on a similar wavelength.
Thanks for your comments H.U.
It seems to me there is vast scope for statistical study, particularly in English football, and hardly anyone analysing the data, at least not in the public domain.
Hopefully, sites like yours and mine are at the forefront of a pioneering approach (sorry, that sounded a little grandiose!)
The statistical data itself has been knocking around for years but no-one has been able to successfully popularise it or to bring it to life -- not here in the UK anyway.
Very happy to share links btw. As you can see my site is extremely basic at present, but I'll bring it up to scratch soon. I'm busy writing the Premiership team profiles at present, only 17 to go! Maybe I'll finish before Christmas.
That is an interesting link you have to Dutch league coverage on foxsports. Do you happen to know if they do a game-by-game breakdown of the stats? I can just about fit another league in my spreadsheet and I've never been able to track down full stats for Dutch football. That Jan Huntelaar looks a fair player, 33 goals from 127 shots!
