I just wanted to showcase the statistics of a few of the best young offensive talents in European football who are potential 'value for money' signings. I put the players in order of my impression of their skill, but please do not take this order seriously. This list is not meant to be comprehensive.
Diego, 22 years of age
Werder Bremen, 2006/07
Games: 33, Goals: 13, Assists: 13, Points: 26
2007/08
Games: 13, Goals: 6, Assists: 6, Points: 12
Definitely look for a big team to come in very soon for this player. At 22 years of age, he is already showing himself to be the best attacking talent in Germany and seems intent on improving on his already superb contribution from last season.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, 24 years of age
Ajax Amsterdam, 2007/08
Games: 11, Goals: 10, Assists: 3, Points: 13
Karim Benzema, 19 years of age
Lyon, 2007/08
Games: 14, Goals: 11, Assists: 3, Points: 14
Benzema is 19 years of age and, so far this season, the top offensive producer on the top club in France. He may well slow down this season but clubs should be lining up to grab him.
Sergio Aguero, 19 years of age
Atletico Madrid, 2007/08
Games: 12, Goals: 7, Assists: 3, Points: 10
Giuseppe Rossi, 19 years if age
Parma, 2006/07
Games: 19, Goals: 9, Assists: 4, Points: 13
Villarreal, 2007/08
Games: 10, Goals: 7, Assists: 0, Points: 7
Luis Suarez, 20 years of age
Ajax Amsterdam, 2007/08
Games: 11, Goals: 7, Assists: 6, Points: 13
Rafael van der Vaart, 24 years of age

Ezequiel Lavezzi, 22 years of age
